The Vitality Program:

Moving, Breathing, Meditating, Resting and Revitalising

April is the time when nature is stirring, and life is rejuvenating. It’s time for our bodies to awaken and do the same.

During this themed retreat, let’s reset and indulge in essential self-care to rejuvenate our vitality and prepare for the sunny days ahead.

Discover revitalising techniques for both body and mind.
During those seven days, you will explore ways to gradually rebuild energy levels, elevate and regulate the nervous system and moods, and foster a sense of bodily comfort and ease.

The morning workshops and evening classes are carefully and thoughtfully crafted to leave you feeling rested, refreshed, and with a clear mind.

The themed morning workshop:

Every morning, Laurent hosts a two-hour themed workshop blending traditional yoga methods, including Scaravelli-inspired yoga, with contemporary bodywork such as somatic yoga, breathwork, and meditation. It’s an ideal chance to enhance your practice at your own pace, reach your goals, and adapt to any ailments or health conditions.

The workshops alternate between slower therapeutic approaches and a more dynamic practice to foster strength, mobility, and flexibility. Laurent’s expertise ensures accessibility for all through tailored variations and accommodations.

The peaceful evening session:

Evenings are devoted to calming, meditative inward practices. Following daily activities, Laurent leads a 90-minute calming and restorative yoga session. This includes somatic exercises and movements to release tension, fostering a deep sense of relaxation. There’s also dedicated time for breathwork and meditation techniques like yoga Nidra to complement the gentle bodywork.
Laurent’s extensive repertoire of deep relaxation techniques and meditation instils a profound sense of physical, mental, and emotional peace and rejuvenation.

The Venue

The retreat will take place at ‘Centro Santillan Yoga and Wellness Centre’, a family-owned farmhouse fitted with the perks of a luxury hotel such as a salt-water swimming pool, a tennis court, massage therapists, a boutique, hiking paths, and beautiful pine gardens for you to enjoy.

This remarkable venue was mentioned in The Times as “one of Europe’s best yoga and wellness centres.”

This authentic Andalusian farmhouse of 50,000 square metres, with gardens overlooking the sea, is set in a secluded location. Yet it is conveniently only 20 minutes from Malaga airport.

Retreaters can immerse themselves in the silence of nature in its lovely gardens and surrounding hills. You can relax in the extensive gardens or around the salt-water pool, and at night can enjoy stargazing under the night sky – we can provide a bonfire outside for those cooler nights.

One of Santillan’s jewels is the spacious state-of-the-art 170 m2 yoga shala with beautiful sea views. Due to its vast south-facing windows, you can practise yoga whilst enjoying the sunsets. The studio is equipped with everything a yogi might need. A thermally insulated wooden floor, an Iyengar rope wall, soft mats, foam blocks, wooden bricks, belts, bolsters, blankets, sandbags, chairs and wooden slant boards.
