Yoga Retreats Terms & Conditions:

Last update: 30th January 2024

Customers who have paid the booking deposit are subject to these terms and conditions, which represent the contract for your Yoga Holiday or Retreat between you and Yoga Retreats by Laurent Roure. These terms and conditions apply to all customers whether or not their place is confirmed on any of the Yoga Retreats by Laurent Roure.

We may revise these terms from time to time in the following circumstances:

(1) changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; (2) to reflect changes to our course terms.

We aim to give our complete personal attention to each guest and their requirements. The service will be provided as it is advertised on our website and details of what is included in the price are sent to the customer in the welcome letter.

However, we cannot take any responsibility if any force majeure situation obliges us to modify the plan.

When accommodation is provided, rooms are sold on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.

We request a booking deposit paid by bank transfer or credit/debit card. This deposit is stated in the booking confirmation email.

Customers are considered confirmed once the deposit has been paid and written confirmation is sent to them.

We reserve the right to accept or refuse bookings at our own discretion and are not obliged to state a reason for doing so.

All bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

A booking deposit is required, and it is not refundable.

All retreat fees must be paid in full 60 days before the starting date by bank transfer or Credit/Debit Card (45 days for UK retreats). Not paying on time will result in a booking cancellation.

Retreats booked within 60 days (45 days for UK retreats) must be fully paid at the time of booking. Payments done within this timeframe are not refundable.

Clients may substitute the original delegate with another person at no extra charge. Written notification is required to substitute a delegate.

We understand that unexpected events might occur and you might need to cancel your trip and your retreat (see cancellation policy below).

For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, baggage, medical expenses and the cost of repatriation in case of accident, serious illness or death, in order for you to be protected prior to and during the trip.

You must inform us of any known conditions or concern that you may have before attending the classes.

You must also inform us if you are pregnant or are taking any medication.

Please note that if you are not in possession of adequate insurance, we reserve the right to refuse your booking or you will not be allowed to continue your holiday with us, with no right of discount.

We will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible for injury, loss or death, howsoever arising, during your stay.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your physical condition is appropriate to the activities relevant to the holiday that you are booking.

We reserve the right in any circumstance to cancel your holiday or retreat with at least 60 days’ notice before the starting date.

Under these circumstances we will refund 100% of the payments customers have paid to us (including the non-refundable deposit). However, we cannot be liable for other costs incurred by you such as for flights and other pre-booked travel arrangements.

We take no responsibility if the cancellation or delay is due to a force majeure including technical, natural or nuclear disasters, strikes, riots, civil disturbances, war, epidemics, closure of ports/airports, severe weather conditions, or any other similar events.

Any booking cancellation must be submitted in writing to info@yogalaurent.com as soon as possible.

The following charges apply with no exceptions:

  • Up to 60 days before the start of the retreat (45 days for retreats in the UK): Deposit only.
  • Up to 30 days before the start of the retreat: 50% of the holiday total cost (50% refund)
  • 29 days or less, before the start of the retreat: 100% of the holiday total cost (no refund)

We will make any valid refund according to these T&Cs within 30 days from the day on which we receive your notice of cancellation in writing. This will be done via bank transfer to the customer’s personal bank account or Credit/Debit card depending on the payment method used to book.

It is customers’ responsibility to hold valid documentation for traveling, including passport, visa, vaccinations, or any other entry destination requirements. No refunds apply for a cancellation due to this situation. Customers are responsible at all times for their own personal documents, baggage and equipment, whether hired or not.

Customers are responsible for any damage, loss or breakage caused by you during your stay and will be charged accordingly.

Under any circumstance, our customers may not provide access or accommodation to any other persons.

Customers also undertake to notify us of any damage, breakages or loss during their stay and to reimburse us.

Yoga Retreats by Laurent Roure has a zero tolerance policy to insulting, abusive or bullying behaviour towards staff or other guests. This policy will oblige us to ask any person with the wrong behaviour to leave the premises without the right to claim any refund.

We accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any injury, loss, accident, death, delay, inconvenience, damage or irregularity arising, howsoever caused (to the fullest extent permitted by law).

We do not accept responsibility whatsoever for events beyond our control.

Similarly we do not accept responsibility for breakdown in the supply of water, gas or electricity; we will however endeavour to arrange for such problems to be resolved as promptly as possible.

We have taken the greatest care in the preparation of the information presented to you and every effort has been made to ensure accuracy.

We do our utmost to ensure that the accommodation is satisfactory and enjoyable, and take all reasonable care to maintain the property in good condition at all times.

If you wish to make a complaint or claim during your retreat, you must report any problem to any of the staff, thereby giving them the opportunity to remedy the issue.

We cannot accept any liability whatsoever if we are not informed immediately, of any problem during your stay.

If a problem is not resolved completely in situ you can write to us within 7 days after the ending date of the retreat.

We will not accept responsibility for claims received out of this timeframe.

Please send us any complaints to info@yogalaurent.com.
